The Rotary Club of Dubai is pleased to announce the formation of its first Interact Club.
At the beginning of the Rotary year 20/21 Youth Chair, Rtn Konrad Milde announced that one of the major goals for the year is to establish an Interact club. To kick off the initiative, a committee was formed, and later in 2020 Rtn Sam Manipadam joined the project team also. With his experience and network in this area, we were able to move swiftly forward in our endeavors for the formation of the interact club.
The Interact Club of Dubai, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Dubai and co-sponsored by the Rotaract club of Dubai has most recently received approval from the District Governor for its establishment and as well from Rotary International the official Certificate of Organization for the Interact Club of Dubai
An Interact Club is targeting the youth ages between 12 to 18 and is formed as a community service club. Interact Club will connect its members among themselves as well as with other young people and to have fun while serving their communities. These young individuals will learn about the world and about Rotary, ingrain in themselves the principle of service above self.
The Members of the Rotary Club of Dubai, Rotaract Club of Dubai, other Rotary Clubs in Dubai are requested to nominate young persons of age 12 to 18 years to become members of the Interact Club of Dubai.
